Can You Help Us Tie Michigan Teal?

The Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance is looking for volunteers to bring awareness of ovarian cancer to cities throughout Michigan during our "Tie Michigan Teal" campaign in September.

National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month is celebrated in September by tying teal ribbons around lamp posts in downtown areas, as well as by handing out posters which list the symptoms of ovarian cancer. Volunteers help to oversee the efforts in various cities and towns across the state while MIOCA provides all of the materials and directions for tying the ribbons. Individuals can also TEAL their personal property or workplace to create awareness. Imagination and creativity are encouraged, as there are many other ways to create awareness with the teal ribbons. We would love to hear from you if you can help! Call 734-800-6144 or email info@mioca.org.
