About The Angel Fund

The Angel Fund was created in loving memory of Angela “Angel” Marie Geller—a true angel among us. Angel was a bright light with a truly beautiful soul, bringing inspiration, love, and comfort to everyone she encountered. She was the devoted mother of two daughters, Camryn and Cadyn, a loving wife to Justin, the daughter of Doreen Blackburn, and the sister of Jennifer Kowalak. Her family was her pride and joy, and she filled our lives with warmth, beauty, and grace—leaving behind a lasting legacy of love.

Angel was known for her courage, resilience, empathy, and generosity of spirit, and for finding joy in the simple pleasures of life—especially time with family and friends, decorating (particularly during the holidays), gardening, traveling, caring for her dog Aspen, and sharing great food as a true “foodie at heart.”

Angel was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 37. Over the next 11 years, she fought fiercely through chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple surgeries, and later pursued holistic treatments. Throughout, Angel met each day with strength, faith, and grace.

In honor of Angel’s legacy—and especially the kindness and generosity she gave so freely—The Angel Fund provides direct financial assistance to individuals and families experiencing hardship through small, flexible grants, typically delivered as prepaid gift cards, to help with essential needs where support is needed most. The program is designed to be compassionate and accessible, with a simple application process reviewed on a rolling basis so support can reach people quickly, without adding burden during already difficult times—continuing Angel’s mission of quietly lifting others up when they need it most.
