The Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance is pleased to introduce Courtney Jerome as our new board president.
Courtney has served on MIOCA’s board since 2021 and brings extensive experience in organizational communication and media engagement. She is passionate about supporting individuals and loved ones impacted by ovarian cancer, and will continue to lead the organization's work in growing awareness and furthering ovarian cancer research.
“I am honored to step into the role of president of MIOCA,” said Courtney. “I look forward to working closely with our dedicated team, supporters, and community partners to continue the important work of advancing ovarian cancer awareness and support for patients and their families.”
At the same time, MIOCA extends its deepest gratitude to Suzi Peterson Steward, who has served as president since 2020. During her tenure, Suzi played a key role in expanding the organization’s efforts to further support research and increase public awareness of ovarian cancer. We are thankful for her leadership and tireless dedication to making positive change.
MIOCA is deeply grateful to Suzi for her remarkable leadership and vision over the past four years, and we look forward to continuing to build upon our work under Courtney’s leadership. Read Courtney's biography here.
