As the new Special Events Manager, Emily Haan comes to MIOCA with 12 years of experience in healthcare, with a background in many different settings. During her time in healthcare, she worked as a licensed certified pharmacy technician, where she compounded chemotherapy medications for patients. Emily also spent time at the Cowell Family Cancer Center providing integrative therapies, programming, and support groups for cancer patients. Emily graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s in Hospitality and Tourism Management, with an emphasis in event management. She recently earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Walsh College in December 2019.
