MIOCA is proud to have our annual Mother's Day Time to Teal event return to downtown Ann Arbor on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Time to Teal is a 5K race and one mile fun run, recognizing the incredible women in our lives while raising vital awareness around World Ovarian Cancer Day on May 8. 

The tradition of this Mother's Day race was inspired by our co-founder, Pam Dahlmann, who lost her mother to ovarian cancer. Pam wanted to celebrate her memory on Mother’s Day and for others to do the same. The event's purpose is to raise awareness of this under-researched disease and to recognize and support those affected by it.

Time to Teal attracts hundreds of participants, of all ages, from all over Michigan. The funds raised are crucial to research for finding early detection and better treatment outcomes. Find more information about the event here.
