LEARN MORE ABOUT THE HOSTS:

Dr. Roy is the founder and Clinical Director at Associates of Integrative Medicine. She is boarded in the interaction between natural therapies, drugs and radiation in a cancer population. As a specialist in supportive care in oncology, Roy co-manages dose-limiting side effects of cancer drugs and radiation and optimizes surgical outcomes using natural therapies that are safe and clinically, evidence-informed. She helps patients lower the risk of recurrence in survivorship and prevent late-term side effects that can impact quality and length of life.

As a leader in the field, her goal is to bring the highest standard of care to those that face this life-threatening illness, by meeting both patient and provider needs to have a trustworthy liaison between conventional management and complementary care.

Dr. Jeff Mensah is completing his fellowship with Associates of Integrative Medicine in Michigan in supportive care oncology. He specializes in the metabolic contributors to cancer and oncology nutrition. Dr. Mensah is passionate about meeting the needs of patients who may be underserved and empowering these groups to access the highest quality of care. In Michigan, he sees a significant need for experts who focus on blood sugar, cholesterol, hormones, and nutrition in a cancer population.

Dr. Mensah is always willing to “go the distance” with patients to explain their diagnosis, treatment, and options to equip them to make well-informed decisions for their health. He is intentional about combining natural and conventional medicine to bring people individualized, evidence-informed, comprehensive, holistic care.
