Joe Young
Joe is retired from the Churchwide offices of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). During his tenure with the ELCA, he supervised Lutheran Disaster Response, HIV-AIDs, ELCA's Social Ministry Organizations Affiliation, and administered several grants and loan programs. Further, he advised congregations regarding the creation and management of social ministry programs, trained nonprofits & social ministry organizations on governance, strategic planning, grant writing, and fundraising. Joe received his Bachelor of Social Work degree from Wartburg College and his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Iowa. Joe is looking forward to building connections in faith-based communities and educating organizations on ovarian cancer.
