Cheyney Bailey
Cheyney Bailey is MIOCA’s Southeastern Michigan Awareness Ambassador. She has supported the organization since its inception. Cheyney’s desire to increase awareness especially among communities of color and young women drives her commitment to the vision. In 2021, two of her family members were diagnosed with ovarian cancer. There was little understanding of their symptoms, disease, and very few resources readily available to fight their health challenges. Cheyney is passionate about people and loves sharing health education & promotion with others. She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida and Master of Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center. Cheyney has over 25 years of experience in health care and looks forward to increasing awareness of MIOCA and ovarian cancer in SE Michigan.
Cheyney and her family have resided in Saline for 22 years. She enjoys traveling, spending time with friends & family, and nature walks. Cheyney looks forward to serving SE Michigan!
