March 9, 2015
Contact: Pam Dahlmann
On March 9-10, 2015, MIOCA supporters will advocate in Washington D.C. for the programs and research that pave the way for better treatments for ovarian cancer. Ten Michigan women will be attending the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance's Advocacy Day. Six of those women received an Advocacy Travel Scholarship from the Lori Haber Buckfire Foundation. Thank you, Planet Lori! Staying in Michigan? Your elected officials need to hear from YOU in 2015 to ensure that ovarian cancer research and education programs remain a Congressional priority. You can advocate via emails, letters, or phone calls!
