International Study Discovers New Genetic Markers for Cancer

The international effort found 49 new risk markers for breast cancer, 26 for prostate cancer and 8 for ovarian cancer. Although scientists have found risk markers for these 3 diseases before, this doubles the amount previously known, according to one study author, Douglas Easton of Cambridge University.
